This ambitious shoot played to my strengths of being both adaptable and a hardcore planner. These kids walked in as strangers and needed to all be best buds on camera, so I used improv games between setups to get their sillies out while promoting listening and trust. I planned out each shoot day to include quiet breaks away from set for the kids and worked with my amazing crew to always be one step ahead of our current setup so we could work fluidly. We shot dozens of spots and even got through a dream extra list that the client didn’t think we would get to.
