This project was a fun challenge that I felt played to many of my strengths. We had 6 hours of Danica’s time to shoot 9 total spots. Six 15 second spots on green screen and three 30 second spots shot in an apartment set. Thankfully, I had the time to prep this day to the max and work to anticipate problems and solutions well in advance.

Because of my background as a DP, I knew looking at the schedule exactly how long setups would take and storyboarded every spot in order to conserve the amount of total setups. I even went as far as writing an alt version of the 30 second spot I knew the clients wanted but that we very likely wouldn’t have time to shoot as is. We ended up shooting my version which, in my opinion, also resulted in some of Danica’s best performances. She got into the bit came alive at the end of a crazy long day to knock it out of the park.
