Anna Zorn is a multifaceted filmmaker that harnesses her strengths in writing and cinematography to direct narrative, commercial, and documentary projects. She excels at being dropped into any situation and thriving, regardless of budget, schedule, or flash floods (true story). She is a graduate of both the writing and improvisation programs at The Second City Chicago. She strongly believes that the best creative energy comes from first being a generous and collaborative teammate.

Anna is committed to tackling narratives about and making more opportunities for women. She directed a docu-series pilot for Netflix profiling the hardships and the grind of being a professional women’s soccer player. In 2021, Anna directed a campaign for Good Foods starring Danica Patrick. She also wrote and directed a commercial for famed Chicago radio host Patti Vasquez for her state representative campaign.

Her music video directorial debut premiered on NPR and was featured in Rolling Stone and the New York Times. Anna has also been a featured director and panelist at The Midwest Film Festival. She has won numerous Telly Awards for her commercial work including a spot for the University of Illinois that hit over 100K views in its first 24 hours.

When she’s not working, you will find her under a pile of blankets with her two cats or tackling the next hike on her bucket list.
