This project was written by high school student Eliza Foli as part of a children’s screenwriting competition. When I read this script, I immediately knew this was up my alley— a highly intelligent warrior girl that epically destroys her brothers who were mean to her? Count me in.

I directed this with two friends that I had previously collaborated with on a short called Mr. Snuggles. We hashed out the shot list and casting together and then each of us took various leads. I took over production design and costumes and split the director of photography role.
